The Hitchhikers Guide to HAMMOZ¶
Below are a few highlights to help you find your way in this web site.
If you wish to:
- Get access to the ICON-HAMMOZ code:
The model code is publicly available via GitLab. Please visit the Distribution section, and in particular Licensing conditions, in order to get informed of the HAMMOZ licencing terms. Please note, that you will need a separate license for the ICON model in order to be able to download the sources (an explanation on how to obtain this is given here). Each member of your institution intending to use ICON-HAMMOZ should ask for access to ICON (see https://code.mpimet.mpg.de/projects/iconpublic/wiki/How_to_obtain_the_model_code).
- Get full access to this web site: [this does not comprise access to the code itself, which is open access]
HAMMOZ has a long and rich development history coupled to the ECHAM climate model. You may benefit from the discussions and issue tracking of the earlier ECHAM-HAMMOZ versions, available in ECHAM-HAMMOZ after registration.
